Align Technology has released software upgrades for its iTero Element intraoral scanner and Invisalign Outcome Simulator.
The updates include an enhanced Invisalign Outcome Simulator 4.0 application with Invisalign 3D Progress Tracking and Patient Simulation Sharing, the company said. The Invisalign Outcome Simulator is a cloud-based application for the iTero scanner that allows doctors to help patients see how their teeth may look at the end of Invisalign treatment.
The upgrades include the following:
- 3D progress tracking
- Patient simulation sharing
- Color scanning
- Restorative pretreatment scanning
- Optimized orthodontic scanning
