Sirona has reported record results for its fiscal 2014 third quarter.
For the quarter (end-June 30), revenues were $299.7 million, up 5.8% compared with the same period a year ago. Revenue in the U.S. increased 8.2%, while revenues outside the U.S. increased 4.7%, according to the company.
Instruments increased 14.0%, imaging systems increased 8.9%, CAD/CAM systems increased 6.2%, and treatment centers decreased 4.7%.
U.S. revenues benefited from imaging and CAD/CAM products. Revenues for instruments increased 14.0%, imaging systems increased 8.9%, and CAD/CAM systems increased 6.2%. Sales growth in international markets was strong in Asia-Pacific, led by China and Japan.
Net income attributable to Sirona Dental Systems for the third quarter of 2014 was $51.5 million, compared with $40.6 million in the third quarter of 2013.
