Sota Imaging is celebrating 25 years in the dental imaging business.
From its humble beginnings with just two employees, a small office in Garden Grove, CA, and a simple production line for optics, Sota grew to manufacture parts for NASA, IBM, and Abbot, and intraoral cameras for corporations such as New Image and Dentrix.
Among the company's products are Claris, the first intraoral camera to work across all dental imaging platforms, the company noted.
In the past year, Sota has launched three new imaging products: a fifth-generation Claris camera, the Clio digital x-ray sensor, and the touchscreen-ready Cliosoft digital imaging software.
