Sirona Dental Systems reported revenues of $231.8 million for the second quarter of 2012 (end-March 31), an increase of $17.1 million or 8% over revenues of $214.7 million in the same quarter a year ago.
Net income for the quarter was $30.5 million, up from $29.3 million in the prior year period.
Revenue growth was led by the company's Treatment Center and CAD/CAM business segments and was particularly strong in non-European international markets, led by Asia Pacific, according to Jost Fischer, chairman and CEO of Sirona.
