Barco has signed a distribution agreement with Benco Dental to distribute its medical displays, marking Barco's entry into the dental market.
The partnership allows Barco to access more than 30,000 Benco customers across the U.S., according to the companies. The primary marketing opportunity entails bundling Barco's MDRC Series display into Benco's Platinum imaging technology package.
The MDRC displays are also sold in conjunction with Benco's line of x-ray equipment or as a standalone purchase.
Barco's MDRC clinical review displays offer DICOM-compliant viewing of clinical data and images, with good contrast and a wider viewing angle than conventional monitors, the company said. MDRC displays meet medical and patient safety standards, and are continuously calibrated with Barco's MediCal QAWeb to ensure 24/7 DICOM accuracy.
