The Canary System from Quantum Dental Technologies is now approved to be marketed and sold in the European Union (EU).
The Canary System is a low-powered laser-based device that uses a combination of heat and light to directly examine the crystal structure of teeth and map areas of tooth decay.
Quantum is currently finalizing distribution agreements in Europe, the company noted.
Quantum is already engaged in a cooperative marketing relationship with 3M ESPE in Canada, whereby 3M's innovative remineralization products are provided with the sale of the Canary System, the company noted.
