Sirona Dental Systems has reported revenues of $245 million for the third fiscal quarter of 2011 (end-June 30), a 34% increase over revenues of $182 million for the same quarter a year ago.
Net income for the quarter was $36.3 million, up from $16.6 million in the third quarter of 2010.
Growth rates for Sirona's imaging systems business increased 37.6% year over year, while its CAD/CAM business segment saw a 31.5% increase.
Revenues in the U.S. were up 11.8%, while revenues outside the U.S. increased 45.6%, with strong growth in Germany, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East, the company noted.
