Health Canada has approved the Canary system, an early caries mapping and detection system manufactured by Quantum Dental Technologies, for sale in Canada.
"We've been contacted by many dental professionals wanting to know when the Canary system would be available for sale, and now that we have Health Canada's approval we are looking forward to getting the Canary system into dental offices across Canada," said President and Founder Stephen Abrams, DDS, in a press release.
The company is exhibiting the system this week during the spring meeting of the Ontario Dental Association in Toronto.
