Darby Dental Supply has signed an agreement with Magnified Video Dentistry to be an authorized distributor of the company's MagnaVu PSII dental procedure scope.
Comprised of an intraoral camera and a video screen, the MagnaVu produces highly magnified images, eliminating the need for magnified loupes, microscopes, and most other dental cameras used in the operatory, according to Darby Dental.
The MagnaVu was designed to allow the dentist and staff to perform most dental procedures from a more correct, heads-up relaxed position, similar to that of medical surgeons.
"The MagnaVu PSII is proven to help reduce aches and pains, and reduce eyestrain," said Darby Dental President Gary Rosenberg in a press release. "It's our goal to provide only the most ergonomic equipment on the market that allows dental professionals to be more productive while improving the quality of patient care."
