AllPro Imaging has introduced the Astra intraoral camera for veterinary dentistry. Working dimensions in veterinary dentistry are very small, and the Astra is designed to enhance the veterinary dentist's vision to work on even the smallest teeth, the company noted in a press release.
Unlike traditional autofocus cameras, Astra's fixed-focus lens allows all objects from 6 mm to 40 mm to remain in sharp focus at all times, AllPro said. The Astra is also useful for client education, helping them to better understand proposed treatment options for their pets.
