Materialise Dental is partnering with Cefla Dental Group and QR to promote the use of dental CAD/CAM.
The nonexclusive relationship is designed to give Cefla and QR customers the ability to have Materialise Dental's SimPlant Pro software preinstalled on NewTom or MyRay cone-beam 3D scanners purchased from Cefla or QR.
SimPlant is compatible with all implant brands and CT and cone-beam 3D scanners, thus providing clinicians the opportunity to stay with their own implant brands and scanning equipment, according to the company.
"The goal of our collaboration with Cefla Dental Group and QR srl is to show customers which cone-beam 3D scanning equipment is available on the market and how any cone-beam 3D scanner can be used in conjunction with our computer-guided dentistry solution," Hans Meeus, business development manager at Materialise Dental, stated in a press release.
