The Chicago Dental Society (CDS) has announced its 2022 board of directors, including five new board officers.
Dr. Thomas Schneider Jr. of Glenview, IL, was installed as the society's 157th president. Schneider has been actively involved with CDS for many years and has held multiple leadership positions within the society's Northwest Side Branch, in addition to serving on numerous committees.
Schneider has taught dentistry for much of his 33-year career and currently teaches in the periodontics department at the University of Illinois Chicago College of Dentistry, according to the society.
Others elected include Dr. Michael Durbin as president-elect, Dr. Denise Hale as vice president, Dr. David Lewis Jr. as secretary, and Dr. Philip Schefke as treasurer. In addition, Dr. Jun Lim, Dr. Gordon Ziols, and Dr. Paul Kempf are joining as new branch directors.
