Atlanta Dental Supply has announced the death of David Blackshear, who served the company for 72 years as president, board chair, and chair emeritus of the board of directors.
Blackshear died on May 29 at the age of 96. He was born in Atlanta in 1924 and attended Georgia Tech before enlisting in the U.S. Army Air Corps, where he was a B-24 bomber navigator in World War II. After the war, Blackshear began his career at Atlanta Dental, according to his obituary.
