The American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM), in partnership with the American Sleep Medicine Foundation, is accepting letters of intent for its first research award program.
The award program is designed to support new studies in dental sleep medicine, in which little scientific research is currently available. AADSM will fund two categories of projects: category I for applicants seeking funding up to $100,000 and category II for applicants seeking funding up to $30,000.
To submit a letter of intent, applicants must be a member of AADSM, have a master's degree or higher, and be an investigator or part of an institution based in the U.S. or Canada. Applicants must also not have a financial conflict of interest or gain significant financial benefit from the research.
Letters of intent are due by October 4. Approved applicants will be invited to submit a full application.
