The ADA Foundation is accepting applications for grants for nonprofit organizations to provide underserved populations with access to care and dental homes.
The application deadline for the foundation's semi-annual Grants for Access to Care grants is July 29, 2016. Grants of up to $10,000 will be awarded.
The organization is also offering three student-related scholarships and awards:
- The Predoctoral Dental Student and Underrepresented Minority Dental Student Scholarship Program offers 54 scholarships of $2,500 each to second-year dental students.
- The E. "Bud" Tarrson Dental School Student Community Leadership Awards provide awards of $5,000 to encourage dental student volunteer programs that serve underserved U.S. populations.
- The Dr. Thomas J. Zwemer Award provides an award of $5,000 to recognize and encourage dental student volunteer programs that help underserved populations outside the U.S.
The application period for these scholarships will begin on September 2, 2016.
