The California Dental Association (CDA) has named Amii Barnard-Bahn as its new chief administrative officer.
Barnard-Bahn is responsible for developing organizational effectiveness and culture within CDA and its family of companies, according to a press release.
Barnard-Bahn has executive experience in both the healthcare and insurance industries, CDA said. Most recently, she served as chief compliance and ethics officer and designed and executed compliance strategy for McKesson U.S. Pharmaceutical in San Francisco. She also founded programs at global financial services group Allianz while serving as senior counsel and director of ethics and policy governance.
Barnard-Bahn earned her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and is also an adjunct professor at the Golden Gate University School of Law.
