In her latest column, stress management expert Jen Butler urges shedding some light on your closets, for the benefit of you and your practice. As she details, the benefits of cleaning your closet are many.

Sealants are inexpensive and have proved to be effective, but a new study in the Journal of the American Dental Association has found that many dentists need to improve their understanding of them and their uses. Read Associate Editor Rob Goszkowski's article here.

Using a technique that looks for genes that tumor cells need to survive, Seattle researchers have identified a potential new drug target for a class of difficult-to-treat head and neck cancers, according to a new study in Clinical Cancer Research. Read more here.

Ohio researchers are developing a hybrid imaging agent that makes cancer cells "light up" during surgery. Designed around a peptide called HN1, it has such an affinity for head and neck cancer cells that it's been called a "head and neck cancer homing device." Read more here.
