A new ADA Foundation grant program will expand the scope of programs the foundation can support, allowing some nonprofit dental organizations whose projects fall outside established foundation grant opportunities to apply.
Proposals from nonprofit organizations for the semiannual grant still must fall under one of the foundation's four pillar areas: charitable assistance, access to care, research, and education, according to an ADA News story.
Program guidelines and application are available at the foundation's website. The deadline for applications is July 31. Grant amounts depend on the number of applicants, budget needs presented in the grant requests, and funds available for any particular category.
