The Delta Dental of Arizona Foundation has issued $450,000 in grants to 37 different organizations in the state, the Phoenix Business Journal reported.
The grants were distributed in amounts from $1,000 to $15,000 to groups that work to improve oral health and prevent disease.
This was the largest single-year grant total in the foundation's existence, according to Sani Perez, vice president of communications and community benefit for Delta Dental of Arizona.
