Business Development Associates (BDA) has announced a new effort to help dental companies increase profits by streamlining manufacturing and other functions.
The 9-year-old consulting firm has expanded its services beyond business consulting and mergers and acquisitions to include advising companies on lean manufacturing design, implementation, and management.
BDA is offering the services through Practical Process Improvement (PPI), a consulting firm providing dental and other clients with more than 30 years of experience in lean manufacturing techniques.
Chuck Yenkner, BDA's president and founder, described it as a natural outgrowth of their business. The growth in restorative dentistry is opening up greater profit opportunities than ever for companies that can identify and eliminate inefficiencies in their production processes, he added.
PPI was founded by and is managed by Bob Yenkner, Chuck's brother. Through this new affiliation, BDA and PPI can share information and expedite services for their clients. Bob's areas of experience includes assisting clients in the dental and other industries with process flow and remake elimination, electronic circuit board assembly, forging, investment casting, injection molding, and milling.
