ADA Annual Session could mean $22M for San Francisco

The ADA 153rd Annual Session taking place October 17-23 in San Francisco is expected to generate nearly $22 million in revenue for city businesses, according to the ADA.

More than 33,000 attendees from 83 countries are scheduled to attend the conference, the ADA noted in a press release. They have so far confirmed more than 39,000 hotel room nights, which is estimated to generate $10.5 million in room revenue and approximately $1.6 million in related room taxes.

In addition, the ADA and its affiliate organizations may purchase an estimated $2 million in food and beverages, and meeting attendees are estimated to spend approximately $7.3 million on meals, transportation, tours, and gifts during their stay.
