Glidewell Laboratories is celebrating a successful first year for the Glidewell International Technology Center, a 2,800-sq-ft training, education, and technology demonstration center in Irvine, CA.
Opened July 14, 2011, the center averaged one course per week in its first year, providing education to nearly 1,000 dental professionals on topics such as sleep medicine, dental implantology, the digital dental lab, and clinical digital dentistry, according to the company.
An integral component of the Glidewell International Technology Center is the glass-enclosed, fully equipped operatory and surgical suite, which was utilized to perform live surgical and prosthetic procedures for dentists, hygienists, and Glidewell employees during the past 12 months.
