Heraeus Kulzer recently celebrated its fifth year as a sponsor of the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity.
Founded in 1907, Alpha Omega is one of the oldest and largest international dental organizations and has more than 5,000 members. Each year, Heraeus makes unconditional grants to the Alpha Omega Foundation and supports the organization's annual educational convention with training webinars and videos.
The Alpha Omega Foundation helps fund a variety of dental-related causes in the U.S., Israel, and other countries. Two of the largest recipients have been two Israeli dental schools founded by Alpha Omega: the Hadassah School of Dental Medicine at Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and the Goldschleger School of Dental Medicine at Tel Aviv University.
Recently, the foundation has concentrated on the Alpha Omega Global Oral Health Initiative, which has distributed aid in Tblisi, Haiti, and Guatemala.
