State lawmakers in Washington will decide this week whether to approve proposed legislation that would create two types of MLP models and allow both to do irreversible procedures with offsite supervision by a dentist. Read more.
In related news, the Kansas Dental Association is partnering with the Delta Dental of Kansas Foundation to help address access-to-care barriers in some of the most rural parts of the state. Finally, over in the Restoratives Community, a study released today in the Journal of the American Dental Association found that when applied to partially erupted molars, a glass-ionomer sealant outperformed a resin-based one in two key areas over a 24-month period.
