The Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) has elected its 2011-2012 Board of Directors.<
Frank Maggio, DDS, the new board chair, has served on DANB's board since September 2010 and is serving the first of a possible two three-year terms. He was elected by DANB's board from a slate of qualified nominees provided by the ADA.
Carol Oeder, CDA, been elected to serve a second year as board vice chair. She is currently a compliance specialist at Dental Associates, where she has been employed for more than eight years.
Mary Harrison, CDA, the newly elected secretary, was elected to DANB's board in September 2010 and is fulfilling the first of a possible two three-year terms.
In addition, DANB's Board welcomes four new directors:
- Patricia Capps, CDA, RDH
- Joanne Dawley, DDS
- Linda Golodner (public member)
- Karen Minca, CDPMA
