1-800-DENTIST made a special "guest appearance" on the August 21 and 28 episodes of HBO's Emmy-nominated TV series "True Blood."
1-800-DENTIST provided the show with an exhibit booth for a scene taking place at the Festival of Tolerance rally for vampire rights, plus various signs offering vampires services such as "fang whitening" and "discounts for vampires over 1,000 years old."
The driving theme behind the Los Angeles-based dental marketer's tongue-in-cheek campaign was "We have a stake in your dental health."
1-800-DENTIST's signage appears in the episodes entitled "Let's Get Out of Here" and "Burning Down the House." The August 21 episode was watched by 5.5 million viewers, a new single-episode high for the series, according to the company.
