Dent-X, a subsidiary of AFP Imaging, has appointed Marc Thacher as its new director of marketing and sales.
Thacher is a past employee who successfully founded a technology dealership that represented Dent-X and AFP Imaging in its West Coast market and has been associated with Dent-X for eight years.
Thacher helped conduct the initial launch of Dent-X's current technology products, including the EVA digital x-ray sensor. He then left Dent-X to open a dental dealership that focused exclusively on selling, installing, training, and supporting dental technologies and computer networks in dental offices.
Most recently, as a representative for Dent-X and other manufacturers, Thacher was the company's highest producing representative where he gained true expertise in the dental industry, the company said in a press release.
