Dental Health Products (DHP) has been awarded a Minnesota Multistate Contracting Alliance for Pharmacy (MMCAP) contract by the State of Minnesota Department of Administration, making DHP the sole authorized source of dental supplies and equipment under the MMCAP guidelines.
The contract, which is estimated to be worth $3.6 million, takes effect November 1, 2009, and runs a full year, with the option for four one-year renewals, the company said in a press release.
MMCAP is a group purchasing organization created in 1985 to provide pharmaceuticals and related healthcare and dental products to its members through volume contracting and careful contract management.
Dental Health Products provides dental offices across the U.S. with service and sales in dental supplies, dental equipment, office supplies, and practice management tools.
