HumanaOne, the individual health arm of Humana, is launching a new individual dental insurance plan and expanding its coverage to a number of states it had not previously served.
The dental PPO plan, called HumanaOne Dental Preventive Plus, offers coverage within network on many diagnostic and preventive procedures, including office visits, periodic oral evaluations, examinations (routine, emergency, periodontal), cleanings, X-rays, sealants, and fluoride treatments. Members can choose from more than 125,000 providers nationwide, the company said.
The plan, which is being offered through HumanaDental Insurance, is currently available in 30 states with plans to expand to 46 states.
It is available regardless of a person's health condition, the company said.
