PeriOptix is showcasing its magnification and illumination systems, including the new Micro TTLs (through-the-lens) design, at this week's ADA annual meeting in Hawaii. Weighing in at 36 grams, the PeriOptix Micro TTL loupe offers a lighter and more compact alternative to other loupes, according to the company.
PeriOptix has developed a laser-guided manufacturing process that creates a perfectly aligned, custom-fit TTL loupe, the company said. In addition, the new PeriOptix Micro TTL can be fitted with prescription lenses to accommodate users who require corrective lenses.
"We are excited to unveil our new Micro TTL loupes at the ADA meeting this week," said Roslyn Tholin, PeriOptix head of marketing, in a press release. "We want dentists to experience for themselves the look and feel of a customized loupe system weighing only 36 grams."
