Crosstex has added a 5.25 x 6.5 size to its Sure-Check sterilization pouch line, which is ideal for bur blocks and impression trays, according to the company.
Sure-Check sterilization pouches feature internal and external indicators that show whether the parameters for sterilization have been met during processing: required temperature for the proper amount of time and contact with saturated steam under pressure (as recommended by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention infection control guidelines and International Organization for Standardization sterilization standards), according to Crosstex.
"The use of Sure-Check pouches saves money and time -- no need to purchase separate indicator strips and insert them into the pouches," the company said in a press release.
