Biloxi, MS, has the worst teeth in the U.S., according to a survey published on totalbeauty.com.
The survey lists the top 14 U.S. cities with the poorest dental health, based on data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other sources. The criteria included number of dentists per capita, number of dental visits per year, degree of tooth loss, and consumption of wine, coffee, soda, fruit, vegetables, and cigarettes.
Southern cities comprise the bulk of the list, with Huntington, WV; Mobile, AL; Tulsa, OK; and Baton Rouge, LA, rounding out the top five.
