Fink elected president of NJ association

The New Jersey Dental Association (NJDA) has elected Steven Fink, D.D.S., of Kinnelon as its president, according to the Daily Record.

Dr. Fink retired after 16 years in private practice after sustaining a hand injury in 2007, but he continues to teach dental hygiene at Bergen Community College, the newspaper reported.

Dr. Fink was born in Manhattan and lived in the Bronx before moving to Paramus with his family in the 1960s, according to the article. He received a bachelor's degree from the University at Albany and a dental degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-New Jersey Dental School.

"When I was a child, the only adult I knew who loved his job was my Uncle Marty, who was a dentist," Dr. Fink said, according to the Daily Record.
