Heraeus Kulzer has introduced its new fifth-generation iBond Total Etch, the company announced.
The iBond Total Etch two-step bonding system is both reliable and effortless to use, according to Heraeus Kulzer. After etching and rinsing, only a single layer of iBond Total Etch needs to be applied without agitation. Air drying achieves the cross-linking effect between the adhesive and tooth surface. The outcome is a homogenous layer of adhesive on the dentin and enamel that forms the basis for a long-lasting restoration, the company said.
In addition, iBond Total Etch can be stored at room temperature, and the single-dose packaging has been redesigned as a freestanding component for easier access and one-handed application.
iBond Total Etch is indicated for:
- Bonding of direct composite restorations
- Bonding of indirect restorations
- Sealing of hypersensitive areas of teeth
