Brett Zak, D.M.D., is Florida's finalist in Cosmopolitan magazine's annual Bachelor of the Year contest, according to a story in the Orlando Sentinel.
A graduate of the University of Florida College of Dentistry who practices in Altamonte Springs, Dr. Zak was nominated by a former girlfriend.
He had no idea he had been nominated until he received a call from the magazine, he told the Orlando Sentinel.
Photos of the 50 finalists have been posted on the magazine's Web site.
