3M has acquired Lingualcare Inc., a Dallas-based orthodontic technology and services company. Lingualcare is the maker of iBraces -- 100 percent customized, invisible, lingual braces for adults and adolescents.
The iBrace system includes customized lingual brackets, archwires, delivery trays, and a lab set-up.Lingualcare also offers classroom and in-office training and certification courses.
According to a 3M press release, "Lingualcare nicely complements 3M’s full line of orthodontic solutions and further broadens 3M Unitek’s aesthetic and digital orthodontic platforms."
