Fovean has changed its name to Sonar Medical as part of a rebranding effort to better represent its sound diagnostic technology in dental and medical markets.
Sonar Medical is developing a diagnostic device that relies on patented vibration technology to help detect dental problems for clinics and dental professionals in poor and rural areas who do not have access to x-ray equipment or who do not wish their patients to be exposed to x-ray radiation.
