PreXion has received approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the Eclipse 3D cone-beam CT (CBCT) dental scanner.
The new 3D Eclipse has two-in-one and three-in-one multifunctionality, with dedicated 2D digital panoramic and cephalometric options, the company noted in a press release.
The 3D Eclipse also has a new wide mode, designed to enable the clinician to capture full upper and lower dental arches, including the entire third-molar region.
PreXion will continue to offer its flagship 3D Elite CBCT system.
