Acteon North America has officially introduced SoproCare, the latest addition to the company's intraoral camera portfolio.
In addition to functioning as a conventional intraoral camera, SoproCare includes fluorescence technology that can reveal occlusal caries, plaque, tartar, and gingival inflammation, according to Acteon.
SoproCare is compatible with Windows and Mac, and will function in nearly all imaging software applications, allowing images to be saved in the patient's chart. It is compatible with current and previous Sopro docking stations, allowing an upgrade to the new technology.
