Thales Group has introduced the SiX 650 HD complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) detector, designed to meet the requirements of both cone-beam CT and panoramic imaging.
The SiX 650 HD is light, compact, and easy to integrate into radiography systems, according to the company. The detector is delivered with a software development kit.
The detector's next-generation CMOS yields very low image noise, absence of artifacts, high sensitivity, and low power consumption, according to Thales.
