Planmeca has delivered three digital teaching environments to King Saud University College of Dentistry and the National Guard of Saudi Arabia Health Affairs.
The agreement includes a turnkey solution with more than 1,000 dental units, simulation units, 2D and 3D imaging systems, and a software platform. In addition, 127 dental units and a complete imaging and teaching system also will be delivered to the University of Eastern Finland in Kuopio, the company noted in a press release.
The networked Planmeca digital dental units, imaging systems, and software are integrated and automatically register all user activities. This provides interactive teaching methods for the clinical faculty. Remote monitoring also is possible.
