Carestream and its subsidiaries were awarded 47 patents in 2011 for innovations in its radiology imaging and healthcare IT, dental imaging, and molecular imaging products from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
These new patents include advances in camera and sensor technology for dental imaging systems.
"These patents illustrate our commitment and success in developing and delivering technologically advanced capabilities and new products that will help our customers enhance results in patient care, healthcare IT, and research environments," said James Milch, director of research and innovation laboratories at Carestream.
