D4D updates DentaLogic software

D4D Technologies has released version 2.0 of its DentaLogic software, which features a new scanning technology.

Smart Scan Technology (SST) displays feedback on the scan quality and filters unnecessary data. A high-density (HD) mode also provides higher density data collection for more detailed results, according to the company. The proprietary ICE (ICEverything) view has been enhanced with ICE Spotlight to highlight one image at a time.

DentaLogic 2.0 expands fabrication options with the addition of three new materials, including D4D's Burn Out Block (BOB), acrylic blocks which can be used as patterns for further fabrication using casting or pressing techniques; Lava Ultimate CAD CAM restorative (3M ESPE), a highly aesthetic resin nanoceramic block offering fast milling and requiring no firing cycle; and IPS e.max CAD Impulse (Ivoclar Vivadent), a lithium disilicate glass ceramic block for restorations requiring enhanced brightness and opalescence along with high strength.

The new version also opens the E4D Sky Network in beta format, to allow transfer of data to design services, dental laboratories, or open-file format solutions.

DentaLogic 2.0 is shipped with all new E4D Dentist systems. All established E4D owners can inquire about upgrading to DentaLogic 2.0 by contacting their Henry Schein representative or E4D district manager.
