Sirona Dental Systems reported revenue of $214.7 million for the second quarter of 2011 (end-March 31), a 13% increase over revenue of $190 million for the same quarter in 2010.
Net income for the quarter was $29.3 million, compared with $17.5 million in the second quarter of 2010.
The growth was primarily driven by increases in sales of imaging and CAD/CAM systems, the company noted.
