Vatech introduces intraoral sensors to U.S. market

Vatech America is now marketing its EZSensor digital intraoral sensors in the U.S. The device features hybrid CMOS technology with 16-bit data acquisition for better image quality with less radiation, according to the company.

Other features highlighted by Vatech include:

  • Three sizes: 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0
  • Rounded edges for patient comfort and easy positioning
  • Rigid internal aluminum casing and shock absorption design for increased durability
  • Reinforced cable connection

EzDent 4.0 image viewing software -- which features a convenient user interface and versatile digital diagnostic tools such as virtual implant and teeth-whitening simulations -- is included at no additional cost, Vatech noted. In addition, the built-in TWAIN driver allows the EZSensor to integrate with most imaging software programs.
