Lumenera today announced the release of a new industrial camera line designed for applications requiring a high resolution and modestly priced imaging component.
This new USB 2.0 camera series features 1280x1024 resolution and on-board processing, auto white balance, auto exposure, and lower fixed pattern noise.
The Lw110 and Lw115 offer a 1.3 megapixel color image sensor running at up to 60 fps. These cameras include a complete Software Developer’s Kit to integrate the camera’s function into OEM applications.
This camera series which is now shipping is an ideal substitute for the now obsolete Lu170/Lu175 camera series, stated a company press release.
“This new camera series provides excellent color reproduction, light sensitivity and fast frame rates, making it a great replacement for the Lu170/Lu175 model,” said Darren Bessette, industrial product manager, Lumenera Corporation. “An adjustable lens mount and ‘full time’ I/O are now standard features on the Lw110/Lw115, providing a complete imaging solution.”
