The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) has formed a strategic alliance with Zoom Media, a provider of digital media services for commercial health clubs, in an effort to connect with potential cosmetic dentistry customers.
Health clubs rely on Zoom Media to entertain, inform, and educate health club members as they work out. The AACD/Zoom partnership is designed to broadcast AACD educational programming over the Zoom fitness network, while providing AACD member dentists with exclusive sponsorship opportunities in local health clubs.
According to research from the AACD and Zoom, 45% health club members think about their physical features nearly 50% of the time they work out. In addition, 66% of cosmetic procedures in the U.S. are performed on individuals belonging to a health club.
