New Dental Choice expands access to orthodontics

New Dental Choice, a nationwide discount dental program by First Dental Health, is working to make orthodontics affordable for people with and without dental insurance, the company announced.

New Dental Choice contracts with dentists and specialists who agree to accept reduced fees for their services. The company provides dental discounts of 15% to 60% on all dental services. Members who belong to a New Dental Choice discount dental plan make low monthly payments, making a wide range of discount dental services available to them.

In California and Arizona, orthodontists in the New Dental Choice network provide braces for a prenegotiated discounted fee. In other states across the U.S., network orthodontists provide orthodontic services at a discount off of their retail fee. More dental insurance programs do not cover braces than do, and there are usually restrictions on what is covered, the company noted.
