Henry Schein has introduced a new line of Oral Surgery Sterile Burs, a carbide-tipped Ortho Bur, and an Endo Access Bur.
The Oral Surgery Sterile Burs are designed for bone removal and sectioning without clogging. They are available in a range of sizes and shapes, including rounded head, taper fissure head, and domed taper fissure head. The Surgical Bur FG 151 is crafted from highly durable tungsten carbide material and available in packs of five. All surgical burs are gamma sterilized.
The Ortho Burs offer sharper, smoother debonding and composite adhesive removal, with little vibration or heat. The burs will clear material from all facial and lingual surfaces, without damaging the enamel, according to the company. They are available in packs of six.
The Endo Access Bur features a long taper shape for opening the pulp chamber into a funnel shape for access to root canal entries. The spiral shape flute design removes debris cleanly and without vibration, while the gold safe end prevents perforation of both the pulp chamber floor and root canal walls. The burs are 9-mm long and 0.16 mm in diameter. They are available in packs of five.
