The Academy of Osseointegration (AO) 2020 annual meeting, scheduled for March 18-21 in Seattle, has been canceled due to the ongoing spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) overseas and in the U.S.
The academy's board made the decision after consulting with scheduled speakers, vendors, and exhibitors, as well as the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Washington State Department of Health, and others.
Those who planned to attend the meeting are encouraged to expedite flight and hotel cancellations. The academy also asks that planned participants and guests remain patient as it works diligently to address questions and provide additional information.
